MacProject II is preset to calculate elements of the project’s schedule with the planned dates.

Important: This type of calculation is most suitable for planning a project and for periodically comparing the planned schedule to the real project as it progresses. But for most project monitoring, you should calculate with actual dates.

Choose Calculate Using Planned from the Dates menu.

For calculating late dates with planned dates, MacProject II assigns the last task’s Earliest Finish to be its Latest Finish and takes a backward pass through the schedule to determine the rest of the late dates.
